originally released in a limited edition of 500 copies in 1982 monoton’s second album ‘monotonprodukt 07’ is now a collector item and also one of the most important album of all-time. it has been voted one of the 100 best records by highly influential uk magazine the wire. monoton was founded in 1979 by hypermedia wizard konrad becker as an art project that underwent various transformations and collaborations in its exploration of psycho-active sound. a pioneer in experimental electronic music, becker continued to break new ground in electronic media. monotonprodukt 07 has been reissued on vinyl by desire (and is still available as a double picture-discs limited to 500 copies. it’s the first time ever that tracks from the album are remixed and desire is proud to had such great artists/producers as us prositutes, svengalighost with fellow partner and l.i.e.s. boss and hospital productions artist ron morelli. the last remix is the work of great mancunian duo rainer veil (modern love). an incredible remix package that do justice to this classic album ! mastered by matt colton at alchemy.

about a year ago nico stojan and acid pauli met at the studio to record some music. while doing so they discovered their common love for sample based production. so they were basically digging into old vinyls and eventually these three tracks came along. nothing more to say, but enjoy. call of the valley is the first release on the new label ouie: there has been a shift in this tiny piece of massive world and, like all other shifts, they are documented by those who were there. ouie is the label to do just that, created by the people who were there, making those shifts.

limitierte wiederveröffentlichung des 1995er albums als 180g schwere vinyl-edition. nach dem moby über nacht mit seinem track go die techno-szene mit einem der großen hits dieser phase versorgte und schnell zwei compilations mit frühwerken des künstlers auf den markt geworfen wurden, sollte everything is wrong sein erstes richtiges album werden. frisch bei dem label mute unter vertrag, zeigte sich moby musikalisch erstaunlich facettenreich. auf der einen seite stehen dancefloor-hymnen wie das überdrehte -feeling so real oder die single every time you touch me, auf der anderen seite überraschte moby mit ambient und filigranem pop. when its cold id like to die mit gast-sängerin mimi goese klingt ganz so als würde moby die frühwerke des labels 4ad (cocteau twins, dead can dance) außerordentlich schätzen. mit dieser varianz nimmt er seinen weiteren werdegang voraus, bei dem er noch häufiger überraschen sollte.
